About Peace Lutheran Church
Peace Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod located in Brookings, South Dakota. Founded in 1995, the church has grown from humble beginnings in a downtown office building to a thriving community of faith now housed in a modern facility on 22nd Avenue. Beyond its Sunday worship life, Peace is deeply invested in Christian education, operating an Early Childhood Center serving children from four weeks through five years old and an Elementary School for kindergarten through third grade. The church affirms the Holy Bible as God's Word and centers its ministry on the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. As part of a tri-point parish with congregations in Flandreau and White, Peace actively serves the wider region and invites visitors to experience its welcoming community.
