About Memorial Baptist Church
Memorial Baptist Church is a member of the North American Baptist Conference located in Parkston, South Dakota. The church traces its heritage to a celebration of God's work through five Baptist churches in the region, with Memorial Baptist itself dedicated in 1971 as a unified home for the remaining congregations. The church emphasizes public worship, Gospel preaching, the administration of believer's baptism and the Lord's Supper, personal evangelism, and Christian education. Under the leadership of Pastor Michael Boyle and his family, who arrived in 2013, the congregation gathers as a close group of believers committed to advancing the kingdom of Jesus Christ. The church offers Sunday School for all ages throughout the year, Wednesday evening programs during the school year, and is working to establish additional ministries such as AWANA for children and youth.
