About Prairie Hills Covenant Church

Prairie Hills Covenant Church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota is a welcoming faith community rooted in the rich traditions of the Covenant denomination, which traces its heritage through the Protestant Reformation, Lutheran instruction, and nineteenth-century spiritual awakenings. The church is committed to immersing itself in becoming fully alive in God while journeying deeper in Christ and extending its mission further into the world. With an emphasis on biblical authority, personal connection to Jesus Christ, and reliance on the Holy Spirit, Prairie Hills seeks to create a fellowship where visitors and members alike feel they truly belong. The congregation gathers for worship that blends traditional hymns with contemporary praise songs, centered on Scripture-based preaching that aims to teach, engage, and offer practical application. Through discipleship, missions partnerships both locally and globally, and a robust prayer life, the church strives to live out its core mission: love God, love others, and make disciples.
