About The Banquet
The Banquet is a volunteer-based meal ministry founded in 1985 that has grown into a thriving community service providing 16 meals each week across two locations in Sioux Falls. The organization welcomes the broader community to gather and serve one another, feeding both body and spirit through its core mission of nourishment and fellowship. Every meal is funded, prepared, and served entirely by dedicated volunteer groups from Sioux Falls and surrounding communities, demonstrating a strong commitment to dignity and compassionate care. What began as a single meal per week has evolved into a vital program that provides not only food but encouragement and community support to those in need. The Banquet operates as a Missionary church, embodying the tradition of active service and outreach to vulnerable populations.
