About Westside Lutheran Church
Westside Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls is a welcoming congregation in the northwest part of the city, rooted in the ELCA tradition. Founded on the belief that people in growing neighborhoods deserve a place to gather and hear God's Word, the church moved into its own building in 2014 after beginning as a Bible study group. The congregation embraces a mission to gather as community, grow in faith, and go out to love and serve. Worship services are uncomplicated and rooted in traditional patterns including song, prayer, scripture, and Christ-centered preaching, designed to welcome people of all ages and backgrounds. WestSide emphasizes being real, intergenerational, and engaged with their neighborhood, making space for both longtime members and those visiting a church for the first time in years or ever.
