About United Methodist Church
Beersheba Springs Assembly is a historic Methodist conference and retreat center located on the Cumberland Plateau in Beersheba Springs, Tennessee, overlooking the scenic Collins River Valley. Originally a pre-Civil War resort hotel, the facility was purchased by the Tennessee Conference of the Methodist Church in 1941 and transformed into a place of spiritual renewal and fellowship. The Assembly offers gracious hospitality and modern accommodations while maintaining its historic character, welcoming groups for church retreats, spiritual renewal programs, family gatherings, and conference events of up to 250 persons. With beautiful natural surroundings, a chapel completed in 1949, and a mission centered on connecting people with God and community, Beersheba Springs Assembly serves as an inspiring destination for those seeking respite and spiritual direction in a setting that honors both heritage and contemporary needs.
