About Pleasant Grove Baptist Church
Pleasant Grove Baptist Church has been serving the greater Maryville area since October 1832, making it a historic fixture in the community for nearly two centuries. As a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, Tennessee Baptist Mission Board, and Chilhowee Baptist Association, the church affirms the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 in its theological convictions. The congregation offers two traditional Sunday services at 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., along with Sunday School classes at 9:30 a.m. for all age groups, plus a contemporary Wednesday evening service. Families with young children will find dedicated classes for those under five during the late service, and children's and youth programs throughout the week.
