About Unity Center
Unity Center is a United Methodist outreach ministry located in Cleveland, Tennessee, established in 1998 by Broad Street United Methodist Church to serve the East Cleveland community. The center is deeply committed to building hope and opportunity through educational, social, and spiritual growth for all, welcoming students of various races, ethnicities, and religious and non-religious affiliations. The organization operates the FUTURE After School Program, which has grown significantly over more than two decades to serve 135 students across four days per week, along with summer day camps and enrichment programs that develop leadership and life skills. Beyond structured programming, Unity Center fosters a strong sense of family and community through volunteer opportunities, workshops, and events that engage families throughout the year. The ministry relies on partnerships with Lee University, Cleveland State, and community members to provide valuable volunteer leadership and continues to expand its impact in the greater Cleveland area.
