About Baptist Collegiate Ministry
The Baptist Collegiate Ministry at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville serves college students and the broader academic community with a focus on discipleship and spiritual growth. The ministry offers weekly worship gatherings called Common Ground on Tuesday evenings featuring the BCM Student Band, messages centered on biblical truths, and opportunities for community building. Additionally, Soul Food provides meals and short biblical messages in partnership with local churches, while Kaleo Communities offer gender-specific small groups focused on Bible-centered discipleship and missional engagement across campus. The BCM leadership comprises students from diverse academic backgrounds who work together to reach their peers for Christ, connect them to local churches, and develop them as disciples and leaders for lifelong service.
