About Neshoba Unitarian Universalist Church
Neshoba Unitarian Universalist Church, founded in 1992, is a growing congregation serving the diverse religious and spiritual seekers on the east side of greater Memphis. The church is an official Welcoming Congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association, committed to radical inclusion and celebrating diversity without regard to race, gender identity, sexual orientation, or religious belief. Neshoba fosters spiritual growth through Sunday worship, adult and children's religious exploration classes, Wednesday Night Live activities, interest groups including a men's group and women's group, and a monthly potluck lunch on the first Sunday. The congregation also actively promotes social justice through its Social Justice and Outreach team, sponsors the Mid-South Pride Festival, and engages in volunteer opportunities throughout the wider community. Visitors are welcome wherever they are on their spiritual journey, with their doubts and questions, and their passion and affirmations.
