History & building
Building completed in 1968
The church continued worshipping in the building we had purchased from 1889 to 1968 when it was decided a new building was needed and was constructed. Since that time we have been recognized as the Washington Missionary Baptist Church and by direction of Rusty Revis, the By-Laws Committee approved and adopted the name as The Old Washington Baptist Church on January 31, 2007.
