About Fernvale Church of Christ
Fernvale Community Church is a Church of Christ congregation meeting at the Fernvale Lions Centre in Fernvale, Queensland. Founded in 1996 by Pastor Greg Muller with a vision to bring spiritual transformation to the area, the church began in a home before relocating to various meeting spaces over the decades. Under the current leadership of Pastor John Adermann, the church is experiencing renewed growth as young families move into the community. The congregation emphasizes loving God and loving people, with a strong commitment to prayer, discipleship, and community service through initiatives like Fernvale Community Care, which provides free meals and assistance to those in need. Sunday services begin at 9:15 a.m. and include a Kids Alive program for primary-aged children, while the church also hosts weekly prayer meetings, monthly men's and ladies' gatherings, and regular community outreach activities.
