Donelson Christian Church, located in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, traces its roots back to 1873 when a small group of Christians committed to simple, biblical, nondenominational Christianity established a congregation then known as McWhirtersville. The church moved to its present location on Old Lebanon Road in 1905 and has served the Donelson community for over 140 years. Today, the congregation is centered on loving God and loving others passionately and intentionally as Jesus teaches, with a strong emphasis on discipleship, community outreach, and missional engagement. The church operates several ministries including a Help Center serving those in need, partnerships with local schools like McGavock Elementary through United for Hope, support for homeless individuals through Room in the Inn, and youth and children's programs.
