About St Mary's Catholic Church
St. Mary's Catholic Church in Jackson, Tennessee is a welcoming parish community of roughly 1100 households representing six continents and many countries. With roots reaching back to the 1860s, the parish has a rich history of bringing the truth and love of Jesus Christ to west Tennessee. The current campus, located just south of Interstate 40 on the Highway 45 Bypass, has served the community since 1991 and is supported by three priests, four deacons, and a dedicated lay staff. The parish operates its own school, continuously served for over 125 years by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia. St. Mary's celebrates the joy of the Gospel through multiple weekly Masses in both English and Spanish, along with various ministries and community events throughout the year.
