About City Church
City Church is a non-denominational congregation located in Knoxville, Tennessee, founded in 2016 by a group of people who relocated from Columbia, South Carolina with the conviction that the church at its core is people. The church gathers on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. for worship services centered on Scripture and the good news of Jesus, with an emphasis on helping people become more like Jesus. City Church provides City Kids environments for children from six weeks old through fifth grade during Sunday gatherings, cared for by background-checked volunteers. The church is built around smaller community groups called LifeGroups that meet throughout the week in people's homes, offering connection regardless of where people are in their faith journey. Located at 522 Sevier Avenue in South Knoxville, the church occupies a renovated facility and continues to grow as a Jesus-centered family on mission in the community.
