About Redemption Church
Redemption Church was founded in 1978 by Ed and Nora King in Knoxville, Tennessee, and has grown from a home Bible study into a thriving congregation serving the city and beyond. The church emphasizes the love of Jesus Christ, the truth of Scripture, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, welcoming people of diverse ethnicities and backgrounds. Worship services feature music, prayer, and biblically-centered messages, and the church offers a range of ministries including groups for children, youth, young adults, and small group communities. In addition to local ministry, the church maintains a national and international television broadcast called "The Power of the Word."
