About Leoma Church Of Christ

Leoma Church of Christ is one of the oldest congregations in Lawrence County, Tennessee, with roots dating back to 1899 when Mary Jane McDougal Freemon began organizing worship gatherings in the community. Formally organized in 1913, the church has grown from its humble beginnings in Freemon's Hall through several buildings to its current location on Highway 43 north of Leoma Elementary School. The congregation emphasizes Bible study, spiritual growth, and living out Christ's teachings through service and love in the community. With Sunday Bible classes at 9:30 a.m. followed by worship at 10:15 a.m., Sunday evening services at 6 p.m., and Wednesday evening gatherings at 7 p.m., the church offers regular opportunities for worship and study. The church family is active in youth and family ministries, care groups, missions work both domestically and internationally, and various community outreach programs. Visitors are welcomed to experience a congregation dedicated to bringing others to Christ and demonstrating His love through genuine Christian fellowship.
