The Church of Christ in Martin, Tennessee, has a rich history dating back to 1874 when William Fall and other Christian families established the congregation in the area. Today, the church is led by eight elders and supported by eighteen deacons who oversee various ministries serving the congregation. The church gathers on Sundays for worship at 9 AM and 5 PM, with Bible classes at 10:15 AM, and meets again on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM for additional Bible study. The congregation emphasizes biblical teaching, acapella singing, prayer, the Lord's Supper, and community service through their missions and benevolence programs. Visitors are warmly invited to attend and encouraged to fill out a visitor card to help the church family get to know them.

The Martin church of Christ was founded in 1874. A Student Center mission effort on the UTM campus was founded in the late 1950's/early 1960's, and a facility was built in 1968.
