About Grace Community Church
Grace Community Church is an evangelical Baptist congregation located in Maryville, Tennessee, serving families across five counties surrounding Knoxville and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Founded in the mid-1980s as a home Bible study, the church has grown while maintaining its emphasis on spiritual formation and biblical exposition. Grace is led by a plurality of elders including Pastor Chris Riser and six other pastoral leaders who shepherd the congregation through Christ-centered worship, fellowship, and ministry. The church is committed to teaching the whole counsel of God through exegetical preaching, grounded in reformed theology and the Second London Confession of 1689. Grace welcomes visitors, including those vacationing in the Smokies or relocating to the area, and invites them to participate in worship and the various discipleship and ministry opportunities available to the body of Christ.
