About St. John Chrysostom Greek Orthodox
St. John Chrysostom Greek Orthodox is a traditional Orthodox parish in Nashville. The mission was received into the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Detroit around 2008 under the name and patronage of St. John Chrysostom. Fr. Michael Marcantoni was assigned to the parish in 2022 after the retirement of Fr. Parthenios Turner. The parish purchased its current building in March 2024, and the Thyranoixia, or door opening, took place in March 2025. Sunday services include Matins/Orthros and Divine Liturgy, with Vespers and Bible study on Saturdays and Paraklesis on Wednesdays. The parish is home to St. Anastasia Orthodox Recovery Fellowship, and services are livestreamed on YouTube.
