About University Catholic
University Catholic is a vibrant community of college students at Vanderbilt and Belmont Universities, though all Nashville-area college students are welcome to participate in their Masses, events, retreats, and mission trips. The ministry is dedicated to proposing Jesus Christ and forming His disciples through four dimensions of formation: spiritual, intellectual, apostolic, and human. Students gather regularly for worship, Sacraments, Bible studies, and fellowship, including weekly CREDO sessions and Sunday Suppers featuring home-cooked meals at the Cathedral's Fleming Center. The community is supported by a devoted chaplain and FOCUS missionaries—recent college graduates who meet students where they are to deepen their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. University Catholic emphasizes creating a joyful, supportive environment where students can grow in faith and work toward becoming well-formed, well-rounded Catholics engaged in service and community.
