Friendship Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri, is a historic Baptist congregation with roots dating back to 1914, when Pastor G. W. Boyd and ten members founded the church to connect their community with Jesus Christ. Under the current leadership of Pastor James Allen Terrance Jr., the church has grown significantly while maintaining its commitment to Baptist principles and radical hospitality. The congregation gathers for Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. with Sunday School at 9:15 a.m., and offers additional opportunities for spiritual growth through Wednesday prayer meetings and Bible study for the entire family. Known for valuing the worth of every individual and emphasizing service over status, Friendship Baptist Church welcomes all people to experience a family-centered faith community dedicated to evangelism, discipleship, and ministry in the surrounding neighborhood.

Dress Code: Please feel free to come as you are. Service Format: Sunday School at 9:15 a.m. followed by Sunday Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m. with prelude and Spirit-filled teaching; additional Wednesday gatherings include prayer meeting, noon Bible study, and evening Bible study at 6:00 p.m., along with a family-style dinner at 5:00 p.m. in the gymnasium.
