About Whitwell Church of God
Whitwell Church of God is a Church of God congregation with roots tracing back to 1904, when believers first worshipped together in homes throughout the Whitwell community. The church officially became affiliated with the Church of God in 1914 and relocated to its current location at 524 Morrison Spring Road in 2012, where it now occupies a modern, state-of-the-art facility on scenic property. The church emphasizes Christ-centered faith, the authority of Scripture, and the power of the Holy Spirit. With a dedicated pastoral team led by Pastors Jim and Lanelle Mulkey, along with worship, youth, and children's ministry leaders, the congregation offers Sunday school, morning worship, and Wednesday Bible study for both adults and children. Visitors are welcomed into a warm community that prioritizes practical teaching, expressive worship, and genuine love for Jesus.
