About Bar Church
Bar Church is a nontraditional Church of Christ congregation in Abilene. For its first 10 years, the church met in a building that had once been used as a bar, and it moved in 2023 after that building deteriorated. Bar Church now gathers at the Freedom Fellowship building and is supported by Southern Hills Church of Christ in Abilene. Its Sunday worship is simple and focused, with prayer, music, a Bible message, and communion.
