Central Christian Church describes itself as an Urban Sanctuary in Austin. The congregation welcomes people with the message that “all means ALL” and describes its approach to scripture as taking the Bible seriously, not literally. Its pastoral staff includes Senior Pastor Layne Beamer, an ordained Disciples of Christ minister, and Associate Pastor Heidi Bounds.
