About Bastrop Christian Church
Bastrop Christian Church in Bastrop has historical roots with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Worship is offered on Sunday mornings with two different styles: a 9:00 AM service with more contemporary music in a coffeeshop style, and an 11:00 AM service with hymns, choir, pianist, and occasional violin and flute. The Lord’s Supper is central in worship, and all Christians are invited to the table. The church also offers children’s ministry and small groups, along with weekday gatherings such as Ladies Bible Study, a Men and Women Coffee Group, and a Brownbag Lunch.
