About Christ the King Church
Christ the King Church is a contemporary congregation in Conroe with a multi-cultural, multi-generational community of believers. The church traces its beginning to a home gathering in the Conroe area in the summer of 1979, with Michael and Denise Walsh arriving in Texas later that year to start the church. It moved into its current facility in January 1990 and became Christ the King Church. The pastoral team includes Michael and Denise Walsh and Charles and Karen Brett. The church’s beliefs include that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are operational in the church today.
