What to Expect as a First-Time Visitor to First Baptist Church Dallas

Dress Code: First Baptist Dallas has a casual and welcoming atmosphere. Feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable - whether that's jeans and a t-shirt or Sunday best. The most important thing is that you come as you are.

Service Format: First Baptist Dallas offers two distinct worship experiences on Sunday mornings:

9:15am Choir & Orchestra Led Worship in the Worship Center This traditional service features the church's choir and orchestra leading in worship through hymns, contemporary praise songs, and the preaching of God's Word.

11:00am Band-Led Worship in Truett Chapel This contemporary service has a more casual, modern feel with a live band leading the congregation in worship. The message is the same as the 9:15am service.

Both services last around 60-75 minutes and follow a similar order of worship - a mix of music, prayer, Scripture reading, and the sermon.

Tips for Visitors: - Arrive a few minutes early to allow time for parking and finding your seat. - Look for greeters in the lobby who can help you get oriented and answer any questions. - Feel free to participate in the worship as you're comfortable - sing, pray, listen intently. There's no obligation. - During the offering, you're welcome to give, but as a guest please don't feel any pressure. - After the service, stop by the Welcome Center to introduce yourself and pick up a free gift.
