About The Village Church
The Village Church is a non-denominational church in Flower Mound with a stated mission to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus Christ. Matt Chandler became lead pastor in 2002, when the church was known as First Baptist Church of Highland Village; it changed its name to The Village Church in 2015. The Flower Mound campus moved into a vacant grocery store in 2009, and the church has continued to develop its campus, including a parking garage that opened in 2024.
