About First Evangelical Lutheran Church
First Evangelical Lutheran Church is an ELCA congregation in Galveston with Sunday worship at 10:00 AM. Worship follows a traditional pattern that dates from the early church, with Holy Communion practiced at every Sunday service unless otherwise stated. Children are included in worship through a Children’s Message and Faith Formation during the service, and a staffed nursery is available. The congregation also offers children’s ministry and small groups for connection and formation beyond Sunday worship. Church office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
