About Anointed Body of Christ Church
Anointed Body of Christ Church is a non-denominational congregation in Garland with roots in a Bible study that began in the home of Rev. and Mrs. Nworie in September 1986. Formerly known as The African Baptist Church of North Dallas, the church was founded on the first Sunday of 1987. It describes itself as a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled congregation and frames its leadership vision around “Gather, Grow, Glow, Go, and Give.” Small groups are part of the church’s life, offering a setting for connection and growth beyond the main gathering.
