About The Church on the Square
The Church on the Square is an elder-led congregation in Georgetown that was born during the lockdowns. The church meets inside the Historic Sanctuary of Main Street Baptist Church and worships in a liturgical pattern shaped by historic Christian practice. Sunday worship includes the singing of old hymns, the recitation of the Nicene Creed, and weekly communion as the congregation comes to the Lord’s Table together. Children’s classes are offered before the Lord’s Day Service.
