About Bissonnet Baptist Church
Bissonnet Baptist Church is a non-denominational body of Christ located in Southwest Houston that has served the community for more than 28 years. Founded in 1989 by Rev. Steven E. Crampton with a Bible study in a small warehouse, the church later became the first African-American Baptist Church established in Bellaire, Texas. Currently meeting at the Hilton Houston Galleria Hotel, the church under Pastor Marc A. Flowers remains committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost, hurting, and oppressed. Bissonnet Baptist welcomes all people regardless of background and invites visitors to worship, grow in knowledge of Christ, and become part of their family as they serve the community through spirit-led ministries.
