About Lutheran Education Association
The Lutheran Education Association of Houston (LEAH) is a non-profit association of three private Christian schools serving students from age six weeks through grade twelve across the Houston area. Since its founding in 1949 by visionary leaders from twelve Lutheran churches, LEAH has grown to operate multiple campuses including Lutheran South Academy, Westlake Lutheran Academy, and LEAH Schools Downtown Academy, along with the recently launched Westlake Lutheran Academy high school. The association is dedicated to providing exemplary academics rooted in a Christ-centered curriculum, nurturing students' spiritual, intellectual, and social development while preparing them to become Christian leaders. LEAH Schools emphasize developing creative and critical thinking, instilling a lifelong love of learning, and engaging students in meaningful ministry and service to others within a safe, welcoming community.
