About The Gospel Faith Mission International
The Gospel Faith Mission International in Houston is a local assembly of The Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT), a ministry that began in 1956 in Lagos, Nigeria, when Pastor Dr. Reuben Akinwalere George gathered the original fellowship and Bible study group. GOFAMINT is now described as having more than 2,000 branches around the world. The Houston congregation is led by resident pastor Tolulope Ariyibi and offers Sunday School, Sunday worship, midweek Bible study, and a Friday prayer meeting. Children’s ministry and a youth group are part of the church’s life, and the congregation is working to secure a permanent sanctuary in Houston.
