About Berean Memorial Church
Berean Memorial Church in Irving traces its roots to the 1940s, when it began as Second Baptist Church of Irving, Texas. Dr. John E. Danish became pastor in 1951 and taught from the Berean pulpit for more than 50 years. After his death in 2003, Leon Adkins was called as pastor in March 2004. The church identifies with the principles of Acts 17:11 and teaches that the Bible is the inerrant word of God and the only source of information from God about spiritual matters. Sunday services are held at 9:30 AM and 10:45 AM.
