Katy Christian Ministries is a social service nonprofit established in 1984 by nine interdenominational churches working together to serve the Katy and West Houston area. The organization operates four core programs: a Social Services Department offering emergency financial assistance and resiliency programs, a Food Pantry addressing food insecurity, a Crisis Center housing domestic abuse and sexual assault services, and Resale Stores where donated items are sold to fund community aid. KCM serves everyone in the community regardless of religious background and does not require participation in religious activities to receive services. The ministry reflects Christian values of compassion and generosity while maintaining partnerships with 65 coalition churches and numerous community organizations across Harris, Fort Bend, and Waller counties.
