Highland Park Baptist Church in Kilgore, Texas was founded on August 8, 1949, by fifty-five charter members with a vision to establish a Christian influence in the community. The church constructed its current building in 1988 and dedicated it to the Lord in 1989. Today, the congregation gathers regularly to worship and glorify Jesus Christ together as a church family. The church emphasizes its mission of 'making HIM known' through corporate worship and individual discipleship.
