About First Baptist Church
First Baptist Church in Llano has served the community since its founding in spring 1879. Led by Dr. Matt Richard, pastor, the church describes its mission as serving, evangelizing, and discipling individuals while loving God and loving others. Its beliefs are summarized from the Baptist Faith and Message of 1963. The congregation worships in an auditorium and main educational building completed in 1956, with an Education and Activities Building added across Berry Street in 2000. Ministries include children’s ministry, youth group, and small groups, with weekly opportunities for Bible study, worship, and midweek activities.
