About Exodus Prison Ministry
Exodus Prison Ministry is a non-denominational, non-profit organization incorporated in 1983 and dedicated to evangelization and discipleship of incarcerated individuals throughout the United States. The ministry operates on the conviction that spiritual transformation through Jesus Christ is essential for lasting behavioral change in prisoners' lives. Their primary outreach is a comprehensive 35-book Bible correspondence course provided free to requesting inmates. All work is conducted by volunteers with no paid staff, and the ministry relies entirely on donations from individuals and churches who share their mission. Testimonies from inmates, their families, and chaplains document the effectiveness of the Bible studies in bringing people to faith, with many former students now living as productive, Christ-honoring citizens in society.
