About St Benedict's Chapel
St. Benedict's Chapel is an ecumenical Catholic organization founded in 2007 to serve Lubbock's homeless, working poor, and food-insecure community with meals and spiritual care. Rooted in service to Jesus Christ, the chapel treats each guest with love and dignity, providing free dinners Monday through Saturday at 5 PM and a Sunday breakfast at 9 AM, serving 80-130 guests daily. Sunday worship takes place at 8:30 AM, led by volunteers from partner congregations, offering spiritual nourishment through prayer, communion, and fellowship.
