About Travis Peak Church Of Christ
Travis Peak Church of Christ is a historic congregation located in the Texas Hill Country near Marble Falls, with roots extending over one hundred years into the region's settlement era. The church began as the Post Oak Bend Church of Christ, meeting first under a tree arbor before moving to a stone schoolhouse around 1900, and built its current facility in 1970 at the corner of RR 1431 and Singleton Bend Road, about six miles west of Lago Vista. The congregation emphasizes living out God's word in service to others and the community, guided by Scripture as a compass for Christian life. Under the preaching ministry of Glen Mullen, the church gathers for Sunday morning Bible study at 10 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m., with an additional mid-week Bible study on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. The church facilities were renovated in 2020 and include a fellowship hall added in the early 1990s.
