About West Side Church Of Christ
West Side Church of Christ in Marshall has roots reaching back to about 1928, when gospel preacher G. P. Bowser came to the city at the request of members. The congregation was earlier known as Morning Star Church of Christ and later relocated from Hynson Springs Road to its present location. Its current building was completed in June 2001. The church describes its purpose as serving the saints of God and the community, with regular gatherings for Sunday Bible class, Sunday worship, and Wednesday Bible study.
