About First Presbyterian Church
First Presbyterian Church of Mesquite has served the community since its founding in 1881, when fifteen charter members organized the congregation. The church has grown from a one-room wooden frame building to its current location, which was dedicated in 1958 and expanded in 1991. Today, the congregation welcomes visitors as part of a Christian community centered on faith, fellowship, and care for one another. The church offers two Sunday worship services at 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., along with Sunday School for all ages at 9:45 a.m. First Presbyterian Mesquite provides vibrant ministries including youth and children's programs, a music ministry, and Wednesday Night Live gatherings that run from September through April for family fellowship and faith formation.
