About Downtown Church of Christ
Downtown Church of Christ in Midland has assembled at its current location on North A Street since 1930, serving as a cornerstone of the local Church of Christ community. The congregation has a rich history of planting sister churches throughout Midland, including Cherry Lane, Fort Worth & Jax/Fairmont Park, Golf Course Road, and Lee Street congregations. In May 2019, the Main Street and North A congregations merged to form the present Downtown Church of Christ, strengthening their unified ministry in the heart of the city. Situated conveniently between Tennessee and Michigan Avenues, about a block north of Midland High School, the church welcomes visitors to join their Bible study and worship gatherings. With nearly a century of faithful service to Midland, Downtown Church of Christ continues its tradition of biblical study and Christian community.
