About Redeemer Lutheran Church & Student Center
Redeemer Lutheran Church and Student Center is an LCMS congregation located in Nacogdoches, Texas, with roots reaching back to its first service on December 1, 1957. The church moved to its current location on Appleby Sand Road in 1981 and has grown alongside Stephen F. Austin State University, serving both the local community and an active Lutheran Student Fellowship. The congregation describes itself as a friendly, fun-loving group united by faith, coming from all walks of life and various parts of the country. Redeemer emphasizes three core values: rejoicing in God's grace, living as God's own family through fellowship opportunities including Super Seniors and Piecemakers Quilters, and caring for the world through outreach projects in partnership with community service organizations. Visitors are invited to join Sunday worship at 9:00 a.m., offered both in person and via Facebook Live, followed by a coffee and donut social and Sunday School.
