About Christian Helping Hands
Christian Helping Hands is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1984 by nine local clergy to address hunger in the community. Operating with an all-volunteer staff and supported by over 20 member churches from various denominations, the organization serves more than 200 families weekly and reaches over 36,000 people annually. Located in Pearland, Texas, Christian Helping Hands provides food assistance to those in need while welcoming donations, volunteers, and community organizations to join in their mission to serve hungry families and uphold the Christian command to help the needy and poor.

Service Format: This is a food pantry that opens at 9:30 a.m. Monday through Friday (9 a.m. Wednesday), operating on a first-come, first-served basis. First-time visitors should bring a photo ID and be prepared to complete an application; services close when maximum family capacity is reached or at 1 p.m., whichever comes first (12:30 p.m. Wednesday). Visitor Tips: Plan to arrive early and allow several hours for the process. Food donations can be delivered to door A at the back of the building, and monetary donations support operations and food purchases.
