About Methodist Children's Program
First United Methodist Church Pearland welcomes families to worship together in a community focused on following Jesus, building real relationships, and experiencing transformation. Their PearlandKIDS program provides age-appropriate spiritual nurturing for children from birth through high school during Sunday services and throughout the week.
First-Time Visitor Info for Methodist Children's Program
Dress Code: A wide variety of styles are welcome, from casual (jeans or shorts) to more formal attire; most visitors find themselves in the middle. Service Format: Traditional worship at 8:30 am and 10:45 am in the Sanctuary, and contemporary NewSong worship at 10:45 am in the Family Life Center; children ages K-4th grade are invited to a separate PearlandKIDS Sermon Session during the sermon, while nursery care is available for birth through preschool. Visitor Tips: Arrive a few minutes early to check in children and visit the Welcome Center; open communion is practiced on the first Sunday of the month (traditional) and weekly (contemporary); a Welcome Center staff member can answer questions about church ministries and programs.
