The United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI) is a Oneness Pentecostal organization with a global presence across 203 nations and territories. Founded in 1945 through the merger of the Pentecostal Church Incorporated and the Pentecostal Assemblies of Jesus Christ, the UPCI has grown from 521 churches to more than 45,000 churches worldwide with nearly 6.2 million constituents. The denomination is rooted in the Pentecostal movement that began in Topeka, Kansas, in 1901 and the Azusa Street Revival in Los Angeles in 1906, emphasizing the oneness of God, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the new birth experience. UPCI churches are self-governing congregations where members elect their pastor and leaders, establish their own budgets, and conduct their community affairs.
