"What to Expect as a First-Time Visitor to Citizens Church in Plano, Texas"

Dress Code: At Citizens Church, the dress code is casual and comfortable. You'll see people dressed in anything from jeans and t-shirts to business casual attire. The focus is on creating a welcoming environment, so come as you are!

Service Format: The Sunday service at Citizens Church has two identical sessions, one at 9:00 am and one at 11:00 am. Each service lasts approximately 75 minutes and follows a similar format:

- Worship - The service begins with a time of contemporary Christian worship led by the Citizens Music team. Feel free to sing, clap, or simply listen.

- Teaching - The heart of the service is the biblical teaching from the pastoral staff. The sermons are practical, engaging, and centered on applying God's Word to everyday life.

- Communion - On the first Sunday of each month, the service includes a time to partake in communion, remembering the sacrifice of Jesus.

- Announcements - You'll hear about upcoming events, ways to get involved, and other news from the church.

Tips for Visitors: - Arrive a few minutes early to allow time for parking and finding a seat. - Stop by the Welcome Center to pick up a visitor packet and ask any questions you may have. - Feel free to participate as much or as little as you're comfortable. There's no obligation to do anything you're not ready for. - If you have children, check out the excellent Citizens Kids program where they'll enjoy age-appropriate teaching and activities. - After the service, stick around to meet some of the friendly people at Citizens Church. Don't hesitate to introduce yourself to the pastors or staff.
